Everybody needs textures for their work here’s a great list of resources where you can find quality freebies. There are two lists. One is High Resolution images and the other is Illustrator tutorials to create vector textures of your own.

Valentine ’s Day celebrates the launch of TextureLove.com, offers free, high resolution textures to designers and 3D Artists. The growing collection of textures are gorgeous.
What is really useful about this site is that as you meander through the gallery, you can add photos to the cart from the gallery dropdown menu and download them all in one zip. This saves sooooooooo much aggravation.
Just remember to check back often because the best stuff is yet to come.
